Words in Deep Blueberry Pie Cups

Enjoy these Words in Deep Blue–inspired blueberry pie cups while reading your fave YA with your very own sweetie! You will NOT regret it.

Words in Deep Blue is a love story. It’s the story of Howling Books, where readers write letters to strangers, to lovers, to poets. It’s the story of Henry Jones and Rachel Sweetie. They were best friends once, before Rachel moved to the sea. Now she’s back, working at the bookstore, grieving for her brother, Cal, and looking for answers in the words people leave behind in the books they love.

Ingredients

  • 2 refrigerated pie crusts
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest

  • Prick the bottoms with a fork.
  • Freeze for 20 minutes.
  • In a medium bowl, mix blueberries, flour, cornstarch, sugar, and lemon zest.
  • Divide filling between flower cups.

This Hawaiian Pizza Is Everything, Everything

Everything, Everything takes us to the land of Hawaii! This magical Hawaiian pizza is the perfect snack to transport your taste buds. It is EVERYTHING (everything).

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla. But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly. Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.
