This section will appear at the top of the dashboard featuring in-the-moment updates, letting you know when:
- someone comments on or reacts to your writing.
- someone comments on or reacts to a story or article that you’ve commented on or reacted to.
Activity from Users You Follow
This section will allow you to better connect with the people you follow. You’ll receive notifications when:
- a user you follow posts a new story or updates an existing story.
- a user you follow posts a comment on or reaction to a story or article.
- a user you follow adds a book or author to their profile.
- a user you follow is featured in a community spotlight.
- a user you follow adds a new story in a genre you have posted to.
New Content for You
This section will help you discover new articles, books, users, stories, and more, based on your interests and activity. We’ll let you know when:
- an article is posted about a book on your bookshelf.
- an article is posted about an author on your profile.
- an article is posted about an interest on your profile.
- an article is posted about writing, and you have posted writing to the site.
- a book on your bookshelf goes on sale.

Sep 9, 2018Though I am a new member, I am most excited about Notifications — I think it’s great I can get notices about other people interacting with my writing; and they being notified about my interaction with theirs. Feedback is actually something I embrace and enjoy, even the parts that may seem negative or critical — I can also find something useful about someone’s feedback about my work; I rely on it to improve.
