The Moment You Entered
By liya krut
Eve followed her mother down the paths of the Moon Tribe territory. They were hunting for food. The two Moon Tribers bent down, and crawled. “Have you spotted something, Mother Avesith?” Eve asked. “Yes, child. A bird. A thick one, too.” Mother Avesith crawled through the tall grass. The fat grey bird squawked. “I see it now.” Eve advanced, following her mother’s lead. Suddenly, her mother disappeared. “Mother Avesith?” She called out. “Shut up, child.” A firm voice came up from ahead. “Geez.” Eve whispered to herself. Mother Avesith shot out from the grass. The bird screeched and begun to fly, but it’s weight slowed it down. Mother Avesith grabbed it’s feathered body, and strangled it. Blood trickled down it’s feathers, as Mother clawed at it. “Good catch,” Eve complimented, reaching out a hand. “What are you doing, child?” The Moon Mother demanded. “May I have some?” Eve asked. “You are 16. Find your own food.” Her mother hissed. Eve sighed. Turning around, she went off.
