lesson: hatred
By Lily Stabler
Sofia paced along the sidewalk. She was waiting outside of Leslie’s house. Sofia was a kind hearted blond girl, who loved science. She enjoyed doing experiments in her spare time, and hanging out with her best friend, Leslie. Leslie was a tough girl with brown hair and green eyes. She had beautiful brown freckles, and she loved sports. Leslie would take any opportunity to play sports. She didn’t care who it was, but she would play with them, no matter the sport. “Come on Leslie, we’re going to be late.” Sofia said when Leslie finally came out. “I’m sorry, my mom was telling me to study for our science test, and not to play basketball this Tuesday.” Leslie frowned. “Coach will be sad I can’t attend,” she said. “Science? That’s great! Can I study with you?” Sofia smiled. “Sure, but it won’t be too fun…” Leslie replied, lifting an eyebrow. “How do you do that???” Sofia asked, trying to lift her eyebrow. “It’s something you learn over time, Sofia.” Leslie laughed. “I’ll never learn!” Sofia whined. “Sure you will.” Leslie smiled. “If you say so.” Sofia said, trying to lift her eyebrow. “You just did it!” Leslie’s jaw dropped. “No way!” Sofia lifted it again.
