Fate's Game

That was my story

But I wanted

A different one.

Fate took what I

Didn’t want to

Give her

She cast her

Great poison shadow

Atop my head

Layed me to rest

Upon her bed

And when I fought,

She lied, saying

It’s alright.

That was my story

But I needed

A different one.

Fate tore my

Paper body

Into fragments

And riddled

My soul with

Dents.

She branded my

Wrists with

Stakes of claim

And called me

Her game.

That was her story

She wrote for me

But I demanded a different one.
