Galispotiser Province

kept in this place, never to see daylight again
looking at the same concrete walls
passing by shadows of my memories back when
walking down these fading halls
thinking that it’s easier to pretend
that i’m not what i used to be back then
there’s somewhere outside, where the tides are high
hearing the voices inside my head
there’s someone outside, that i didn’t mean to say goodbye
even though i’m still alive, at least i tried
locked inside, and i’m forever blind
the fading lights, a million shades of gray
nowhere to hide, a prison by my design
locked inside, the darkest mind
for the price i paid, until i fade away
my stolen lies, and it led to my demise
holding onto the same iron bars
the story written on the walls, keeping it as my disguise
echoing footsteps made by the prison guards
can’t you see the signs, just stay in line
but i guess we all mess up sometimes
there’s somewhere outside, where the tides are high
hearing the voices inside my head
there’s sometime outside, when i could see the sky
looking into the reflection of my own eyes
there’s someone outside, that i didn’t mean to say goodbye
even though i’m still alive, at least i tried
these chains are made
in a certain way
and as memories fade
in this place i’m locked away
locked inside, and i’m forever blind
the fading lights, a million shades of gray
nowhere to hide, a prison by my design
locked inside, the darkest mind
and it’s the price i paid, until i fade away
