Room 3 is okay not the best room I have ever been in. It has a bed and dresser. I take my bags to the dresser and empty my things into the drawers. I put my pictures on top of the dresser. I got into my pajamas and got ready for bed. I went to bed and went to sleep.
The next morning at least it looked like morning. I got up and got ready and knocked on the door that connects the two rooms. Knock, knock. I hear Shaun get up and walk over to the door. He opens it slowly.
“ Good morning, Shaun.” I say in a cheery voice.
“ Good morning, Ella. What are you doing?” He says sleepily.
“ I was checking if you were ready to go.” I said with a smile.
“ Okay. I’ll be ready in a minute. Meet me at the van.” He said.
I get ready a bag with water bottle, extra clothing, food, picture of my family, money, and a small first aid kit just in case. I walked out to the van where I wait for Shaun to come out. After a few minutes Shaun walks out ready to go. We eat a few donuts from Krispy Kreme.
Shaun drives down Hollywood Blvd trying to spot the teen we are looking for. We don’t see him so we drive turn down N Vermont Ave. We keep looking but Hollywood’s a big city it is hard finding a boy in this city. We drive down many roads but nothing comes up. It’s about noon time. So we found a place to eat on Sunset Blvd called Wood, it’s a pizzeria. We walked in and grabbed a table in the corner. It was cozy. The walls were made of wood and the tables were small but okay. You could feel the warmth of the oven and the smell of pizza was intoxicating.
“ Welcome to Wood. Here are your menus.” said the perky waitress.
The menus were glossy with many different foods and drinks. There were so many I didn’t know what to pick in the end I chose to share a large pepperoni pizza with Shaun.
“ Have you chosen what to eat?” said the waitress when she came back.
“ Yes, we will have a large pepperoni pizza with two Sprites.” I said.
“ Okay. I’ll be back with your drinks.” said the waitress.
She came back with our drinks and food. After we went back to the motel. The time went by slow as a sloth. I sat on my bed thinking about what I should do. ‘I could run away from Shaun but I love Shaun but I don’t want to live in the building only able to get sun when I go out on missions. I love Shaun but is he worth my freedom and my family. Will my family accept me if I go back to them.’ These thoughts are what has been running through my head ever since we got to the motel.
Knock, Knock, Knock. It came from the door that connects our rooms. I walk over to the door just as Shaun opens the door.
“ Do you want to go to the club next to the motel. They are about to open.” said Shaun with a smile.
“ Sure just let me get into better clothes.” I said closing the door.
I get into the only dress that I have, a little black dress with a red neck line.
I walk out of my room and hit into Shaun who was outside my door.
“ Oww!” I hit my head on his hard chest. Shaun was wearing a nice black shirt and pants.
“ Sorry Ella, are you okay?” asked Shaun with a look of concern.
“ I’m okay just wasn’t looking where I was going.” I said. Shaun reached down and helped me get up.
