We walked to the club next door. It was a black building with spray paint all over the walls. We walked in silence side by side. I wanted to hold her hand but I don’t think she would like it. We are friends and that’s it. We walk in the door after I gave the man at the door a few dollars. The inside was amazing there were many teens and lights. The music was so loud that I couldn’t hear myself think.
I took Ella’s hand and led her to the dance floor. I jumped up and down with the rest of the people. I could finally let go and have fun. Ever since my mother decided to throw me out I have always had to train and do everything the guys tell me to do. No fun and no friends for years it was lonely but I survived. Now I look at my new friend Ella. She is beautiful and free dancing a crazy dance.
I danced and danced with her until we were both tired out.
“ Should we go?” I shouted over the music to Ella.
“ Yes.” She shouted back.
We left hand in hand out the door back to the motel. We split to go to our rooms.
“ Goodnight.” I said quietly.
“ Goodnight.” She replied.
I threw myself onto the bed thinking about what just happened and fell asleep.
