About The Author
Anna Mitchael is an author, editor, and story collaborator based in central Texas. She began her career as a copywriter at some of the most creative ad agencies in America before working as deputy editor of Magnolia Journal alongside editor-in-chief, Joanna Gaines. She is also pursuing her master of theological studies at Truett Seminary with an expected graduation date of Spring 2025. Anna is the co-author of Copygirl and the author of Just Don’t Call Me Ma’am. She writes the monthly column "Dear Boots" for Wacoan, a regional magazine in Texas, and has also written for Southern Living. Anna and her rancher husband split their time between Waco and Mosheim, Texas.
