About The Author
I. Edward Alcamo, Ph.D., formerly of the State University of New York at Farmingdale, taught biology at the college level for over thirty years, specializing in biology for health science students. He has been honored for excellence in teaching by both the State University of New York and by the National Association of Biology Teachers.
