About The Author
Peter N. Carroll has taught at the University of Minnesota, San Francisco State University, and Stanford University. He is the coauthor of The Free and the Unfree: A Progressive History of the United States with David W. Noble. Professor Carroll and his partner, author Jeannette Ferrary, live in Belmont, California.
