About The Author
ANN JAMES is an award-winning illustrator of over 60 children's books. She is the co-founder, with Ann Haddon, of Books Illustrated, a Melbourne gallery focused on Australian children's book illustration. Together in 2000, James and Haddon were awarded the Pixie O'Harris Award for distinguished service to Australian children's literature. In 2003, James received the Dromkeen Medal, for her work in promoting Australian children's book illustration. She lives in Melbourne, Australia.
