About The Author
Carrie is the creator of the best-selling adventure series The Flying Flamingo Sisters and author of Horse Girl, her forthcoming middle-grade novel for Penguin Workshop. She served as a staff writer for several Nickelodeon comedy variety shows and has contributed to The New York Times, The Atlantic, Cosmopolitan, The New York Post, McSweeney’s and Architectural Digest. Her essays in awkwardness are featured in the book Mortified: Love is a Battlefield.
