About The Author
Ruth Marshall, an actress for twenty years, worked in film and television, with regular and recurring roles on such series as Degrassi: The Next Generation, Doc (with Billy Ray Cyrus) and Flashpoint. Although she no longer acts on-camera, she continues to do voice work for radio and television commercials (she’ll sell anything – no really, anything) and recently completed her first audiobook for We’re All in This Together by Amy Jones. Ruth also wrote her first book, a memoir published by Simon & Schuster, entitled Walk It Off: The True and Hilarious Story of How I Learned to Stand, Walk, Pee, Run and Have Sex Again After a Nightmarish Diagnosis Turned My Awesome Life Upside Down. It is both a national bestseller and a Chapters Indigo Heather’s Pick. She is currently at work on her second book. Ruth lives in Toronto with her husband. She has two sons.
