About The Author
Born in New Jersey to Irish parents, Grace Brophy lived and worked as a teacher and systems engineer in New York City until 2001, when she and her late husband, figurative painter Miguel Peraza, traveled to Italy with their two cats. Before she turned to writing, Grace taught writing and literature at the City University of New York, and she was a systems engineer for various telecommunication companies, including Bell Labs, AT&T, and Verizon. She is the author of a police procedural series set in Umbria, featuring Commissario Alessandro Cenni.
