The loud, dull sounds of metal banging as she walked towards the wall were engraved into her head. Her mission was to be thrown into space and to not come back, or was it? Melissa sat down, watching the endless array of stars out of her capsule’s window. She had made the capsule her home, a home fit for a 15 year old. She would constantly worry herself about food, even though she had a machine that could make it for her. Constantly writing letters and just thinking about what’s out there, she almost thought she had seen it all. Quadrant P, of the Kleptia System, her Sps (space positioning system) had read aloud. It had a soft voice, like the one Melissa had heard from her own mother. She had been feeling like a zombie recently, without sleep, and tired all the time. Melissa’s eyes felt heavy, and she fainted, before the Sps called aloud, “Warning. Collision Detected!” Melissa had not heard, for she had fainted. An Earth-like planet seemed very, albeit too close to the window. The capsule started to burst into flames, and Melissa was still out cold.
