So captivating is the spark
It almost seems to never be in the dark
But the cover is misleading
The spark is retreating
Down it goes
And in it throws
Smothered into absence and void
It thinks, I’ll never gain this fame
I’ll never be that core
But wait, there’s more
Because of the twinge of regret and guilt
Or in the lore of love and how it wilts
It gets back up
And into the flame it forever grows
And this, we all know.
