Slick pink,
Soft,
Two ribbons intertwining
As she pulls them on
She stretches
To her fullest height,
Feet arched
In the most uncomfortable manner
But she feels nothing,
No longer do they hurt her feet
As she extends her leg,
Head raised,
Arms out,
I marvel at her grace
And elegance,
Always breathless
From seeing
The beauty,
The strength,
Of a ballerina
