‘‘Twas the night before Christmas
When all through the house
Not a creature was stirring
Not even a mouse
For all were asleep
Dreaming of sugarplums
Christmas Gifts
And old Saint Nick
For when they woke up
The Christmas tree
Would be filled with presents galore
And when I was dreaming
I was awoken
By the sound of bells ringing
Santa was here!
I rushed to the window
And opened the shutter
But Santa was gone!
And then I heard it
Hooves clattering on the roof
A man falling down the chimney
And then him chuckling downstairs
I crept to the balcony of my loft
And saw him down below
Setting out presents
And chuckling with his white rosy cheeks
He finished delivering the presents
Went up the chimney
I ran to my room
He flew off into the night
Yelling
Merry Christmas To All
And to all a good night
