Romanticizing Memories
By Kay L
The Sun ordered the Stars …
To shine bright and blue
Like a lavender that blooms in spring
Still emanating the fragrance even after wilting
The dried petals died to lose the colours
Still the essence stayed as a reminder of a nostalgic legacy
The pride will melt away with the skin
Before the bones get the carvings of wounds,
Liberate the vapours of the soul
Spread it everywhere and lose your home
Let the wild flowers engulf the throne once you ruled
Let the creepers tell your tales
