I AM
By elle woods
I look out the window, and you greet me with a cheer of delight and color:
You get ready for a good ol’ night, to watch the moon dance and smile at the night sky:
You hop up and down and release a fountain of colors, which comes from your fingertips:
They surround your golden body, telling you bedtime stories to get you to fall asleep faster:
Eventually, you fall into your blanket of space, then they tuck you in:
Your golden arms reach out, put down the space a little bit, to watch your sweetie moon smile down:
O golden one, an ode to you, forever on.
