No one understands what the other next to them experience throughout their life. Every day you walk past people who all are dealing with their own hardships. These people feel emotions just like you do as well to all different degrees. There could be a fraction of love in their life when compared to yours. There could be more happiness than you ever thought was possible of achieving in theirs. But these thoughts do not come at the exact moment. These thoughts could not come at all for anyone. All strangers are to some are just a glimmer of the world around them. Not many people are genuinely interested in people they do not know. Now, this is not a fault in someone’s personality. This is how people are conditioned now. To look at strangers as that is all they ever could be in their life. A role of a stranger is to stay just as it is therefore minimal effort is ever put into the alternative that is getting to know someone just for that. Not for any personal gain.
When one looks at someone they do not know most of the time the reason they choose to get to know the other is there is something in it for them. There might be a business opportunity where one could make a profit. It could be a teaching moment. It could be someone looking at that stranger wondering if that person, they knew nothing about a day ago, could show them the love they have always longed for.
The fact of the matter is, humans are conditioned to be selfish. It seems odd when humans can be the least humane out of all the creatures on Earth. Don’t get me wrong, there are moments of pure love and selflessness every day but when those things are viewed it brings up the intentions of those actions. Does that person really care for what they are doing or are they just doing it so others see it? See, this is how the world is now. Even if someone is doing something good they still get questioned.
