The soft grass creased beneath my feet as i trailed down the path to the forest. I bounced about and ran through the trees, the wind rushing through my hair. Then you hit me
Or i ran into you. I fell back and my hair fell as i tumbled, the graceful run now a dangerous tread, or so i thought.
As i fell, he caught me with grace and held me closer. My feet ached from running and my breath labored. I opened my eyes to offer an apology but my breath stopped. I gazed into his blue eyes and felt a warmth that ive never felt before. My gaze was met with annoyance and he dropped me on the ground. As i mumbled an apology he told me never to run barefoot again, then disappeared. I never saw him again.
