Is to break

The branch we’ve built

The sea we’ve swum

The heart we’ve pumped.

To lie is to forget yourself in the tides of emotion that pull us down

Deep, deep

Down.

But we lie

For we lack a key

To shut secrets up

Because humanity’s

Curiosity has harmed so much

Even ourselves.
