Genie’s Rules

Chapter 1

To be honest, Lucine had everything a girl could want; rich parents, good fashion sense,beauty, and a lot of friends. She was a high school freshman at Nissa Private High School, and lived on a beautiful tropical island where her parents owned three different houses.

Lucine had light brown hair that complemented her complexion, angled cheek bones, and a small frame.She had eyes that looked like the ocean and earth, or so everyone told her. She tended to die her hair a lot, almost every time a new color. Her latest color was a deep purple that matched the nail polish she was wearing.

When Lucine entered the auditorium, where freshman stayed until their first class, she immediately spotted her closest friends and went over to them, then sat down, and one of her friends already had something to tell her.

“What do you think of the new boy? He transferred here from America,” her friend, Marella, said.

“You mean today is his first day here?” Lucine asked, looking to where Marella was pointing, and immediately saw him. He had light red hair, freckles everywhere, and a muscled body, no doubt from working out constantly.

“Yeah. Don’t know how, but his parents managed to get him in mid term, so he must be really smart. But what do you think of him?”

“He’s pretty cute, but just barely.” She was trying to act cool, but she actually thought he was extremely cute.
