Don't Play With Fire

Two opposing people. Two very different lives. Two very different cultures. One thing in common.

Chapter 1

FACTUAL FACT #1

When Enzo was younger, his mother taught him about matches. She said that matches were for adults, for only lighting candles and the occasional outside bonfire. Enzo quickly learned that matches were only used by people over the age of thirteen. Once Enzo turned thirteen, he lit his first match without his mother there with him. He lit the carpet on fire. The whole main floor of their three-bedroom Rochester house. They later moved to a bigger house where all nine members of Enzo’s family could live comfortably. Thanks to Enzo.

When Daila was younger, her mother told her not to use matches. She never did. Her house is still intact.
