INT. AIN SHAMS UNIVERSITY – DAY
A young Egyptian man, AMIR (25), is walking through the halls of Ain Shams University. He is dressed in his white medical coat and has a look of determination on his face.
AMIR (voiceover) I never wanted to be a Pasha. I wanted to be a doctor, to help people. But my father had other plans for me.
INT. AMIR’S HOME – DAY
Amir is sitting across from his father, PASHA AL-BASHAWI (60s), who is scowling at him.
PASHA AL-BASHAWI You will do as I say, Amir. You will become a Pasha, just as I did, and your sons will do the same.
AMIR (defiantly) I won’t do it. I want to be a doctor, to help people.
PASHA AL-BASHAWI (angrily) You will do as I say!
Amir knows he has no choice. He packs his bags and leaves that night, determined to follow his own path.
EXT. AMIR’S JOURNEY – DAY
Amir travels to various capitals, learning about different cultures and honing his medical skills. He finally arrives in Algeria, in a small city.
INT. HOSPITAL – DAY
Amir is working at the local hospital, helping patients. He meets a young woman, AISHA (22), and they quickly fall in love.
AISHA (smiling) You are not like the other doctors here. You care about your patients.
AMIR (smiling) I just want to help people.
They get married and have three children: two girls and a boy, the last offspring in the family of Al-Bashawiya. Amir is finally at peace, having found his happiness in a place where he can truly be himself
Amir is walking through the city with his wife and children. He is smiling and happy, and he knows that he has found his true calling.
AMIR (voiceover) I never wanted to be a Pasha. I just wanted to be a doctor, to help people. And now, I have found my happiness in a place where I can do just that.
As the years passed, Amir became known as one of the best doctors in the small city. He continued to help people and make a difference in their lives. His wife, Aisha, was by his side every step of the way, supporting him in his work and raising their children.
The family of Al-Bashawiya became a respected and beloved part of the community, known for their kindness and generosity. The children grew up proud of their heritage, but also proud of their father’s decision to follow his own path.
One day, Amir received a visit from his father, Pasha Al-Bashawi. The old man had finally come to understand his son’s choice and was proud of the man he had become. They embraced, both happy to be reunited and to have put their differences behind them.
The years went by, and Amir and Aisha grew old together. They watched their children grow up, marry, and have children of their own. Amir remained a doctor until the day he died, always helping people and making a difference in their lives.
In the end, it was clear that Amir had made the right choice. He had followed his own path and found his happiness, and the world was a better place because of it.
