Braking

By @Joyous_One

Shattered glass spreads through out the core

But the surface is shiny and clear

No cracks or dingy corners here

While greatness seems near

A breathy superior fogs the glass

No matter the amount of wipes or swipes

The fog descends onto the surface

Sinking into the cores shattered remains

It simply settles into every crevice

Like how water take shape to a bottle

The shattered shapes are left untouched

To never be pieced back together

How soon will the surface last

Will it cave in and become brittle

Causing just a touch to shatter it

Hard to tell for now but things are not at all what it seems to be

Only time will tell

Crack away, perhaps it will be in heaps

Truly time consuming but it’s human nature

We brake easily
