Golden Boy Dream

i haven’t thought about you in 3 years

but now you’re in my dreams again

and i’ve never told you this before but you’re beautiful

and you’ve always been my golden boy

you don’t even know it 

and i’ve never felt your arms around me before

but i know it feels safe and warm and familiar 

maybe like home

i know ill never see you again 

but it would be so special

if you visited me in my dreams once in awhile 

i will wake up crying

but they’ll be the sweetest tears
