When I was eight years old, as gift for the summer peace ceremony, the kingdom of Clet gave a lion. In return my parents offered my hand in marriage to the heir of Clet. He three years older then my, and I have never met him.

Mara and Clet have been at war for centuries, long before the gates closed.

Before, the all the fay would help. especially La Dame de Lac. The witches would brew potions, for health and strength, among the warriors. It was rumored that the changelings were the greatest of all the warriors. Many a times, before the war, unwanted human babies were traded for fay.
