    A QUESTION OF RESPECT

    The Sandy Fuller Story

    Ron Fuller grew up in Portland Oregon, attended high school and took a job with the Cannon Corporation. He arrived at the company at the right time. They had just begone to design and manufacture home copy printers for the mass market. He became a sales associate in the new field for the Western Division. Eventually the sale of Cannon printers went through the roof . After only five years with the firm, he was promoted to sales manager for the entire area. He met and married a secretary named Barbara Anderson with 3 youngsters arriving within a five year period.

    Barbara loved children and the kids had a marvellous upbringing. The first born was Ruth . named for Ron’s Grandmother, next almost a year later was their son Samuel, named for Barbara’s father and the last of their brood Sandy, she was a beauty and moreover a child with a wonderful shine to her character. Ron and Barbara could not get over how the child glowed. She had lovely honey blonde hair and a smile that captured everyone.She did very well in school and won several awards.Sandy loved sports and played on the school basketball team as well as the tennis team. All of the children were extremely obedient. Their parents never had an occasion to discipline them which made fora very smooth home.

    Without warning their father came home one day and said that he was being appointed to the head of the Canadian branch in Calgary Alberta. The city was a modern place with all of the services of most American metropolis. The children were disappointed in not being able to graduate from their High School but accepted the move  with teh usual compliance that had become part of their every day life. Sandy spoke for them when she said she was happy to move to Canada. Ron decided to sell his house and take a road trip across the states into Canada and they loved the idea. Barbara read everything she could find out about the Canadian Provinces and they drove from Portland to British Columbia and across the Rocky mountains into Alberta. Sandy’s sister became quite ill when they reached Calgary and she needed to have her tonsils removed. She spent three days in hospital and Ron found a beautiful home in the foot- hills  area of Calgary within only a few miles from the Resort town of Banff. Barbara was overjoyed and outfitted the home with all new appliances and furniture.

    T hey had also found their true passion for hiking, which t hey all joined in. Ruth began University in the fall of the year they moved and their son Sam loved outdoor life and began to apply for entrance into the United States Marines . He was accepted for training  in 100 palms California and although they were sorry to see him move away they were happy to see he had found something he would love.Within a few months of his leaving Ruth found the man of her future , a young dentist who she met at the dental office. He was a newcomer to Calgary from Vancouver. They married the following spring and Sandy had still not found a college program that she would enjoy. Boys galore filled the house but she was very particular and not one would meet her specifications. Her mother was quiet frustrated with her but she hung on in her search fora young man. Her mother suggested she seek a career in travel and she thought it was a great idea. she registered fora two year course at thr Global travel college and found that it was absolutely perfect for her. On graduation she was hired by the international Wagon-Lit travel agencies where she became one of the top travel agent. She won numerous travel awards and was able to travel to several destinations including all of South America. She was appointed a supervisor of the cruise division after four years with the company and cruised on a majority of ships out of Seattle, Vancouver and Alaska. Sandy was still constantly flooded with dates but unfortunately not one of them filled the bill. In one conversation with her mother she admitted that she was still a virgin and expected to re main in that state until a man of her dreams appeared . Her mother was slightly embarrassed but was not surprised, after all she thought she grew up in a pure environment.
