The walls move back and forth never changing. I sit in this dank disease filled room chained to the wooden floor. Hearing the ocean but only dreaming about seeing its true beauty. I never listened to my father nailing me with his words to not follow my dreams to high. I flew higher than I could imagine but my dreams took my wings and put me in this hell. The only dream I wish for now is to die. “BOOM!”
My ears dull to the explosions and screaming as the darkness have drained my humanity and sanity. To me it was music to my ears. Listening to the music of Ares fill my ears I felt a sense of freedom. The ship trembled and the floorboards creaked and one of my prison walls fell with a blink of an eye.
The room filled with the dust and smoke from the wall. As it cleared up I could finally see the blue sea that I only dreamed of. I fall to my knees as emotions filled my body. I could not even realize that the chain had broken off until I could gain control of my body again. I walked to the ocean as I knew it called my name only to fill a sharp pain in my stomach.
Sticking out was a piece of the wall. I fell to my knees and watched as the metal pierced the stomach of the ship. The ship moaned in agony as it did not want to stop sailing the blue sea. I looked out the room into the sky and smiled. The one I adored took me away and set me free.
