A Covid Poem

When all seems lost and hope is nowhere to be found,

We can’t help but wish this crisis to be drowned.

But within this daunting darkness is an emboldened light,

And because of this we continue to fight.

This enemy is unlike any we’ve seen before,

Yet we know in our hearts that someday, it will be no more.

Until that day arises,

Let us do away with our guises.

Have hope and be strong,

Do what’s right, not what’s wrong.

Don’t give up and don’t give in,

Because in the end, we will win…
