Fall’s Biggest Fashion Trends

It’s that time of year again when pumpkin spice lattes take over our lives, leaves begin falling, and of course, sweaters, boots, and cozy scarves rule our wardrobes.

We admit we’re just a little stoked, for fall and switching things up in our closets (and on our book shelves!) Below is a list of our favorite fall fashion trends that you’ll be super down to test out. . .

Leisure Suits

Reebok Colorblock Vector Track Jacket, Urban Outfitters

Have you ever seen those velour sweat suits that were all the rage in the early 2000s and thought, “WHY?! Just, why?” Well, they are back and better than ever. This time around, the “athleisure” terry cloth tracksuit is getting a serious update with just about every brand making the matchy matchy look cool again in different fabrics and patterns. Being an athlete— not required.

Pale Pink

Sleeveless Top, Pink, ZARA

Light hues of pink are going strong (it’s the new neutral, after all), and there’s no sight of it leaving us anytime soon. Rock this simple tee and your favorite pair of jeans, and you’ll nail that I-didn’t-try-too-hard look effortlessly. If you really want to take a risk: go for a monochromatic look with matching pinks on top and bottom.

Couch Florals

Floral Print Trousers, ZARA

Bet you never thought your grandma’s couch would land in your wardrobe? Don’t speak too soon because this season, intricate floral patterns are ruling the runway — and soon your OOTDs. Florals for fall? Groundbreaking.

Sheer Layering

Bountiful Blossoms Black Embroidered Maxi Dress, Lulu's

Make your outfit work double time by tackling two trends at once: couch florals from above and mesh on mesh for an unexpected touch.

Gray Suiting

Woven Peg Pants with Obi Tie, ASOS

It’s time to suit up for fall in structured gender-neutral pieces that will help you dominate your day. There’s options for both men and women — some more traditional and others like these trousers with a tied-in waist if you want something to show off your figure.

Festival Longline T-Shirt In Black Velour With Fringe Back, ASOS

Every fall, one trend that’s always sure to come around is fringe, and we welcome it every time.

Sneakers with Glitter, H&M

Unexpected for the season? Yes. But shine and sparkles are always on trend in our world. You’ll want to rock these kicks around on the reg because they’ll make you feel like the superstar that you are.
