Welcome to the Deathless God’s Rome . . .
Rome was the very first place I set foot overseas, closely followed by magical Sicily. Rome made an indelible mark on me. Cruel Is the Light is a love letter to Rome and its vast history, all encased within the city walls, imbuing its stones and cobbled streets. I always knew I wanted to write my own version of badass Vatican demon hunters, and having the chance to put my own stamp on this particular motif has been a delight.
There’s just something about nuns with guns. Right?
In these pages, you’ll discover a world divided between powerful foes where the forces of light and dark are more similar than they’d like to admit.
